Originally supplied to the UK Royal Air Force and finished in RAF Blue. Appears to have spent most of its life in storage. Civilian registration date is 16 March 1970 which presumably dates the sale of the bike by the Ministry of Defence. Bought by Ernie Hall in February 1999 with 251 miles recorded and needing thorough re-commissioning. Work partially completed by Ernie and I purchased the bike from his estate in early 2023 with 262 miles recorded. Re-commissioning work still needed but this should be finished by the end of 2023 (famous last words!).
